# ToS Violations

### What it looks like:

This is when someone violates Discord’s ToS or Community Guidelines. This includes profile pictures, banners, statuses, about me, etc.

### How to handle it:

Check if it violates anything on the [Zero Tolerance List](/moderation-guide/rule-enforcement/common-situations/zero-tolerance-list.md). 

If it does not, please utilize the [One Chance Policy](/moderation-guide/rule-enforcement/common-situations/one-chance-policy.md).
